I enjoyed the new Battlestar Galactica but felt they lost their way in the last season, all got a bit weird. Then the last episode seems rushed to me. Its a shame it was cancelled though as was a good series.

Alex, that trilogy ended up as a series of 7 by Asimov. I recently re-read the whole lot in the right order, and it was completely different to how I originally remembered it.
...and I loved Tuf Voyaging. Nothing like the more famous series he wrote later.

I guess this is more cult than sci fi but I am watching Jericho at the moment on Netflix. This is where a few nuclear bombs have exploded in the U.S. and there is a town called Jericho which has survived. It's not gory at all if that's not your thing, really getting in to it.

Star Trek original series always. It's just a little before my time but I prefer it to all the series. Second place for me is TNG but it would be nothing without Patrick Stewart. I've seen every series including the last one Enterprise which was cancelled half way through. It was ok and a welcome break from the really over the top stuff they did with the previous ones. With it being set the earliest of the series.
Then there are occasional random things from nowhere like Interstellar which I love and Oblivion. Too many to name.
Warning Star Wars Spoilers for the very few who never saw it

Star Wars also a big fan of. Though it did have some flaws. Like how exactly was the empire evil? they never actually do anything bad until the rebels form and start attacking them. All they did was start taking control over criminal worlds and achieve peace. Then comes the Jedi who want to destroy a ship (the new ultimate super weapon deterrent that will prevent all wars) with thousands upon thousands of crew members murdered. provoking it to attack. Then the ending... emperor is dead and his successor as well as the unfinished death star. So ok big blow to the bad guys, what about the big fleet that was destroying the rebels and the other fleets elsewhere in the galaxy? all the star destroyer captains and admirals still out there untouched but nope its all singing and dancing. Makes no sense. BUT at least the new ones I believe follow on from that ending and the empire strikes back, again. The plot should finally make sense.

Minnaloushe creeps through the grass,
From moonlit place to place,
The sacred moon overhead,
Has taken a new phase.

Surprised no-one has mentioned Dr Who yet
Hmmmm, let's see ... I liked watching the original Battlestar Galatica, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek (Next Generation), Stargate SG-1.
Plenty earlier stuff too, but that's enough for starters
