Richard HoldawayAnother distinguished name has joined Lunar Mission One's International Advisory Board today. Professor Richard Holdaway, whom many of you will remember from our original launch event at the Royal Society, will sit alongside our other IAB members such as former NASA astronaut Dan Tani and Malaysian astrophysicist Mazlan Othman to help advise on all areas of the mission

“I am delighted to be joining the International Advisory Board at this pivotal time for Lunar Mission One, as it enters its next phase of development,” said Richard, "Lunar Mission One represents an innovative and exciting new way of funding space missions as well as engaging fully with the public and space sector alike in the wonders of space exploration.”

Richard is Chairman and CEO of aerospace consultancy company Lone Star Space Associates. He is the former director of RAL Space and was actively involved in Lunar Mission One long before its public launch last November.

Lunar Missions Ltd's Chairman, Ian Taylor said, "Richard has strong connections with public and private space activities in Europe, the USA and Asia and has recently retired from RAL Space after a long and distinguished period as its Director.  He was extremely supportive during our KickStarter period. I am delighted he has agreed to become a member of our International Advisory Board.”
