Send yourself to the Moon

WSW-logoTo celebrate World Space Week, October 4-10th 2015, Lunar Mission One is launching a creative competition where the younger members of your family could win some fantastic prizes. To enter, they must be 18 years of age or younger and they need to show us what they think should be preserved on the Moon for millions of years.

Entries must be in by October 7th at 5.00pm GMT


The prizes:

All winners will be listed on the Lunar Mission One Supporter Wall and a picture of their winning entry will be sent to the Moon on our mission.

In addition, the following digital memory boxes will be awarded for each category:

1st Prize: 200MB Digital Memory Box (worth more than 1000USD)
2nd Prize: 100MB Digital Memory Box (worth more than 500USD)
3rd Prize: 50MB Digital Memory Box (worth more than 250USD)

Create something inspiring that shows what you think should be preserved for millions of years in our time capsule on the Moon: draw, paint, take a picture, make a video (in .mp4 format and no longer than 60 seconds) or create a sculpture. Next, take a picture of your entry and enter it here:

Then watch our social media channels to see your entry. Get your friends to like it and share it because there is also a People's Choice category where being popular counts. It is that easy.

The categories:

- Young Persons: 12 and under
- Young Adults: 13-18 years of age
- People’s Choice: All entrants are eligible for this category

What else you need to do:

- Please keep your original artwork...you might win!!
- Make sure that your parents or guardian are ok with you entering if you are under 15.

Judging:

Judging will occur between October 7-9th 2015, during World Space Week, and winners will be announced on our social media channels and my email.
