On this wet Bank Holiday Sunday I found this gem of British research about travel to the Moon.

From: Some Aspects of Space Travel by EGD Andrews. Proceedings of the Rugby Engineering Society, Session 1961-62.

I particularly like the photo - perhaps from Bristol Siddeley?

Read my interplanetary SF novels - 'Yuri Gagarin's Soul', 'Of Martian Lines', 'A Pyramid of Tiny Skulls'. My bio at www.amazon.com/author/andythomas . Also: 'Reason to be Fearful', and 'Nullitopia'.

That was a wonderful few pages Andy.
Judging by the fun illustration this particular spaceman didn't manage to land the craft too good did he :-)

If i have the time i'll take a photo of my fun SPOOF 'First Men in the Moon' Newspaper front cover and upload it to add to the fun you've provided.

Thanks, I enjoyed this.
