The Open Universtity/FutureLearn Moons MOOC (8 week long, free online learning) begins again on 19 Oct, updated to cover Charon. Trailer video and sign up page here .
It will run again in March 2016.

I really want to do this, but this isn't looking like a good time either (the last one I was travelling). Have a big deadline end Nov ... Grr...

At its heart, engineering is about using science to find creative, practical solutions. It is a noble profession.

It is also available continuously on OpenLearn
The main difference is that you can start when you like and study at your own pace. However this means that you will not have hundreds/thousands studying alongside with you, so there is much less community support.

Woohooo! Thanks Dave, the Moons MOOC is absolutely brilliant, enjoyable, interesting, fun...I highly recommend it. Although just right now I am reading the proof of a very interesting new book on moons...would you know anything about that, Dave??
