Anyone seen the Kickstarter by Moonspike, they want to send a rocket to the moon for $1M?
After reading some more, they won't go to the moon for $1M, but will build the team.

Isn't the saying MC that 'God Loves a trier' well...
If this could be achieved for just 1 million dollars it would be a little packed up there
Yeah 1 million to assemble a team sounds more like it...i'll stick with LM-1 having read about some of the incredible talent behind this mission I think it'll happen (one way or another)
The MOON is going to be the next big thing over the next 50 years...
There is something called Helium-3 which if I read it right a ton of could power a city in the United States for a year! might have even been the whole of the USA but that sounds a little too little to power a whole nation!
Certainly looks like it will be like the Old Wild West soon...as everyone and their dog tries to get a piece of the Moon action.
BTW they calculated the 1 ton of Helium-3 would be worth 1 Billion Dollars!!!
Now get a reusable Space Truck up there and a mining operation and a) it will help our energy problems until we figure out nuclear fusion and b) create a great deal of money for someone...if that someone was only LUNAR MISSIONS paired with ESA etc then perhaps they could use the profits for the good of us ALL and not greedy individuals...JUST SAYING!
