Paul Conway created the topic: ARE there Anymore SURPRISES on the MOON?
And if so what do you suppose they might be?

Is there more water on the Moon than we'd ever thought likely?
Discounting those astronauts already stationed there of course  and their water supply.

When drilling takes place will we discover materials not anticipated?

Is there really a SWEET SPOT? where the Moon is neither too cold or two hot.

Just what is that bridge like structure that seemed to appear over a very short spell of time?
It's a curious one as even Sir Patrick Moore was intrigued by it and stated it had not existed previously.
Did the moon have some kind of quake? with ground breaking away to then leave this very interesting structure.
Certainly one to check out given the chance.

Of course I'm really hoping for that Black Monolith to be confirmed in Clavius
Funny thing is i'm sure i read that Arthur C. Clarke (writer of the book the film
was based on and who closely collaborated with the director Stanley Kubrick) had stated this sequence bore some similarity to things that had been mentioned to him possibly giving him the idea for the book?

What STRANGE & WONDERFUL things are up there for us to DISCOVER do you think?

Not expecting many suggestions here thesedays but if anyone has any ideas it would be interesting to hear what you think? :)
