You might be right Stavy but this is the only forum I have this problem, if it is a setting I have enabled I have no idea which one it is.

I don't think there are any settings on here except the box to tick when you are logging in 'remember me' I think it is more likely dependant on your security, browser etc..

Seems to be coming and going here Stavy (as in ok and then slow)

Now to show my depth of ignorance techy wise.I find if you log in via the pale blue box in the upper left corner on the home page and tick remember me you remain logged in at all times,at least I do,but if you log in via the community drop down forum selection you have to log in every time you leave and re-join the site.

you know what Daedalus? most times the simple answer is the correct one.. I think you are right, and just shows you, its easy to overthink these things.

Thanks for your help... Guys, perhaps try this? I only logged in once, and now haven't needed to again, so I haven't tried both ways

As for the speed today I have just tried the B B C and a couple of other sites I frequent.
All Very Slow I think it's just a bad day on the inter-webby thingy.
