LM1 Chapters
It's not every day that you get to help a space mission.
Apollo was made possible by a team of 400,000 people including employees from the government, space industry and media. Lunar Mission One currently has a team of professional specialists and 7,165 backers in 77 countries from our Kickstarter campaign in late 2014. As a space mission for everyone, LM1 aims to establish worldwide volunteer teams that contribute to a real life space mission. Current LM1 chapters in formation include Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Ghana, India, Lithuania, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Africa, Turkey, UK and USA..
As a chapter member, you will help promote LM1 internationally and bring something unique to the team. Current chapter members come from a wide array of professions including education, marketing and the arts. Our chapter members are already working on:
- Marketing: promoting the mission and build a legacy.
- Education: helping pilot a global education programme.
- Technology: designing a capsule that can survive on the moon.
- Science: helping predict the survival and discovery of the archive.
- Languages: making the LM1 website accessible to all cultures.
- Art: raising awareness of the future of humanity, the Earth and the planets.
Whatever your fields of expertise, LM1 wants to hear from you.
