1 - Introduction

This Lunar Missions Privacy Policy ("Policy") sets out how Lunar Missions Trust with registered company number 8661432 and whose registered offices is at Wreights House, The Mall, Faversham, Kent, United Kingdom ME13 8JL, ("we", "us", "our") collect and process information about you when you visit our website ("Website"). This Policy will also govern how you use our online services which include the purchase of Lunar Mission One merchandise and/or Digital Memory Box Vouchers, use of the Website's facilities such as the Lunar Missions Labs and membership of the Lunar Missions Club ("Services"). By continuing to use the Website, you consent to your information being processed in accordance with this Policy.

2 - What personal information we collect and how we use it

2.1 - Information you give us. We collect and store information that you enter on our Website or give us in any other way.For example, you may give us information about yourself when you use our Website in order to provide you with our Services. We may also collect and use information provided by you when you participate in surveys conducted by us or if you sign up for updates/communications (e.g., in relation to the Lunar Missions Trust education programme). Some of our Services may require you to have an online account ("Account") with us.

2.2 - Information we collect when you set up an Account with us.You may give us certain information about you when you register for an Account with us. Information that is required in order to register for an Account is marked with an asterisk. If you have an Account with us, you will also be asked to create a unique password which enables you to access your Account. 2.3 - Information we collect when you purchase product(s) from us. You may give us certain information about you when you purchase Lunar Mission One merchandise and/or Memory Box Vouchers from our online Space Store. You consent to us collecting information such as the following from you when you make a purchase:

  1. Your payment card details;
  2. Your billing address;
  3. Your delivery address;
  4. Your e-mail address; and
  5. Your beneficiary details, if applicable.

If you provide us with personal data relating to another person (e.g., a beneficiary), you confirm that you have informed them of our identity and the purposes (as set out in this Policy) for which their personal data will be processed and that you have obtained their consent to such processing.

We will use your personal information to create and administer records about your Account including your purchase history, to collect and store survey responses and carry out analysis in relation to such responses, to provide you with information or Services that you have requested from us, to send you service related communications, to send you updates, invitations and other information that may interest you (as outlined in Section 4), and for such other purposes that we disclose to you when we request your information.

When you visit our Website, we may automatically collect your internet service provider’s IP address you are using and generic browser details in order to help us learn about your computer's browser and operating system. We collect information automatically through the use of various technologies, including through "cookies", and this is explained further below.

Some of these affiliates and third parties may be located outside the European Economic Area. From time to time, we may also use data processors located outside the European Economic Area.The countries to which we may transfer information may not have as comprehensive data protection rules as in your country.However, please be assured that we will take steps to ensure that your privacy is protected. We, and selected third parties, may use the information you give us on our Website for direct marketing purposes to provide updates; events; or other communications relating to the Services offered by us and also by third parties that we think may interest you.  Where required by law your prior consent will be obtained before sending direct marketing.
