There are some really nice pictures on here I'm glad you though of this threat. I only have my budget telescope my self (not even used it for a year) but I do have a few lenses and the moon can look pretty stunning through them. I've not tried taking any pictures though.

You're welcome Fawkes. I'm happy I started it also.
Imagery is enjoyed by many, Observing is enjoyed by even more. There are times I don't even take pictures of the Moon. I sit there and stare at it, or just go scanning across it and see all detail after years and years of bombardment.

As there seems to be a baron run of images being added onto the thread, I thought I would add another one I took In December 2014.
They are 2 seperate images of the Waning and Waxing Phase of the Moon taken at 2 seperate times of the month. All processed and merged together using various software tools. ( for info - this image will be used in a Magazine in the next few months - So keep your eyes peeled )
I Hope you like it.

Here's an image I took back in February whilst browsing around the Lunar surface with my scope and webcam. I was amazed to learned that the area I found most interesting that night contained two historic lunar landing sites. Hopefully I'll get to add the Lunar Mission One landing site to my collection one day.
