Great Idea Matthew, and glad to see you took my advice (read 'order') and came along to post
Why don't you start a thread as it's your idea, and explain again, and people can add photos to it. Perhaps each person could then caption their photo with time and place.
For the sake of this forum, can I ask people to resize their photos for upload unless they are hosting on their own websites.. Ta!

Just thought you folks might like to see a couple of photo's I took recently of the moon from just North of Edinburgh (Lower Largo to be precise)
Those hills & lights on the other side of the beach are indeed Edinburgh (Scotland), sadly by this time I was in so much pain from a cracked rib thanks to one of the old cottage doors I had to take them through the windows (so sadly not as sharp as I'd have liked) the rainbow within the clouds to the right was spectacular but by the time I'd got the camera out sadly it had dispersed still, just managed to catch some of it, so here goes...

Well not great, both gone pixelated and 2nd was not a click on shortcut!!!
Just not used to uploading photo's too often but hopefully gives you a look at the view we had from our stay.
