So, 180,000 extra Labour Memberships at £25 each....this now permits them to vote in the upcoming Labour Leadership...

Those clever, wealthy, pesky Tories

It might just work...Get him in...and hopefully an easy General Election win will follow in perhaps 2-4 years time, Owen is an unknown quantity?

Then again...maybe these are genuine Labour supporters...blimey!!! I hope NOT or Labour truly is LOST.

Mr Corbyn does seem like a good, decent man (for the most part) although he clearly has some attitude problems as was seen on the Andrew Marr show and a few other interviews recently.

Honestly would you vote for a guy that when asked what he would do during a terrorist attack allegedly replied 'i would negotiate with them'
If he remains Labour leader but the party retain Trident (could happen) you would have a British Prime Minster that would NOT use it if needs be, ok the very idea is a horrible one, without any shadow of a doubt but why would the labour party have a leader that would never give the go ahead to use them & yet order them...Makes NO SENSE and would be A TOTAL WASTE of MONEY (then again maybe that's his plan?)

I LOVED Theresa May's response to this horrible 'What If' scenario...no messing about, would she use it YES! you might NOT like that response and things would have to get bad for it to go that far, but if it did she would...BRAVE lady (I truly hope you never have to Prime Minister)

He said he would nationalise the Railways & Power companies (or at least would like to) really? tell us how do you plan on doing this? the cost would be astronomical ;)
I still can't believe Britain have to rely on foreign countries to provide a good percentage of it's power & energy...this should NEVER be...perhaps we can create jobs and bring power back to this country (in both senses of the word) by doing so...sounds like a plan right?
I think he's pulled back (at least in public) from his support for certain groups...saying it was a mistake, credit to him for this at least, although doubts remain.

Honestly, I don't think i would trust him to run my local fish & chip shop, never mind the country but then again the WORLD is getting CRAZY these days.

I fully expect him to win and with it a break-up of the LABOUR PARTY to follow, then, perhaps, maybe? hopefully we'll get a good, well considered, intelligent & caring party can try to take on the CONSERVATIVES and one not in the pockets of the UNIONS
Ah, the unions there was a time when they were a credible, good invention...now simply just another body looking for POLITICAL POWER.

On the other hand....THERESA MAY has had just about the BEST week she could possibly have had...

Brilliant against Corbyn (blimey is he weak! bringing up food banks yet again!!! you don't think she's concerned by these too?)
Would she use the nuclear button 'YES' the correct response from a British Prime Minister, I don't mean to war monger or anything but how positive was this response?...Putin will hopefully think twice now (did anyone catch the interesting BBC nuclear room documentary from a few months ago? blimey! how weak were they?)

PRIME MINISTER MAY appeared to have good discussions with Angela Merkel...we should get a good compromise deal with Germany and others over trade and some free movement...if it's NOT...I can see her being strong, pulling the plug and starting Britain from scratch...I think we might just have (by accident) got a strong, good, hopefully caring British Prime Minister who can see just how far British Politics has dropped.
In this respect I am somewhat encouraged and with some proviso's...NO PRIVATE NHS....would vote for her tomorrow, I WISH HER WELL & GOOD LUCK.

Makes you think what a WORLD some 100 years will look like...PLEASE be GOOD....PLEASE figure out we don't need to use nuclear weapons, PLEASE figure out we CAN be kind to each other whatever you look like, whatever religion you have, in fact whatever you are ;) ...PLEASE take more CARE of the OLD (with respect) the DISABLED & the POOR (I hope by this time our tech will have done away with this and we'll all have all the power, food, water, energy and care we need)

LET's at least aim for UTOPIA...where everyone may look different but we're all EQUALS....and can begin doing the really important stuff of advancing our species and exploring OUTER SPACE.

It may well be that we already have an 'Andromeda Strain' set-up in place where at least our race is able to survive, although that would sadly bring me back to the world of the rich and powerful who if some were to be believed already have plans in place :(

BUT I'm EVER the OPTIMIST and BELIEVE in the HUMAN RACE to one day COME GOOD.

So there you have it Donald Duck (sorry Trump) has won the Republican vote to try and become the 'President of the United States of America'

And a good number of these republicans just really really can't believe it either....How in the world did this happen?

Well, for starters he's a Showman (have you heard his speeches? he comes across like President Snow (Donald Sutherland's character) in The Hunger Games films)

Secondly he was given a platform for what? 10 years on Tv with 'The Apprentice' here people got to like him (why I have no idea, he's a shouter, believes he's right ALL the time and appears to have bullying instincts (he certainly wasn't pleasant to a number of contestants on this series be they normal folk :) or the celebrities, it's only a tv show? he's putting up a front? I don't think so...and those in Scotland will know a little of this perhaps?)

Three...he's clearly rich so was pretty much able to pay for his own ticket....running costs etc.

Four...he's actually saying things that much of America approves of and in a shouty, gung-ho way they think a macho president should sound like.

He's actually (and you might even say rather cleverly) turned all the recent problems on the streets of America back on Obama & Hilary Clinton.

Surely to goodness the American people are NOT going to vote in such a man as he to become the so called LEADER of the Free World???

President Trump, Putin, LePen & Corbyn ALL in POWER??? Yup the BAD ALIENS have landed....Send me to the MOON right now :P
