Paul Conway created the topic: The SABRE Rocket Reaction Engine is the FUTURE!
This is a Rocket Engine that has long been talked about...it uses the air within the atmosphere to help power it.
I think it's pretty much 100% British? not sure? and is something worthy of investing in (certainly if you could buy shares in this company & I had the money I would do so)
SABRE is what may finally get us into low Earth Orbit and get us to the likes of Australia and the West Coast of America, Japan etc in less than 1 hour.
Can you imagine that...business, holidays and day trips will be forever transformed...I remember travelling with the school to Cheddar Gorge on a coach when I was younger and it appeared to take ages (approx. 3 hours I think) in possible 10-20 years time (hopefully sooner) we could be having day trips out to Hollywood, Mount Fuji and the Sydney Opera House...How COOL is that!
The kids of that generation will know no different...school trips to Yosemite National Park in California and back for Tea
If proven to be successful SABRE will make tons of money for them...and GOOD luck to 'em but I hope they make it affordable for everyone to use?
The Governments 60 million is being spent on this project and it seems like money well spent to me...see out of the EU and going it alone, not so bad huh?
We are living in interesting, exciting and yes troubling times.
