I LOVE the MOVIES

So i might make this a regular thing here...A link to the latest & interesting movie trailers (don't ya just love 'em)

This first one...caught me by surprise...directed by Mel Gibson (say what you like about the guy but he can direct the hell out of a movie! oh and he's been in some beauties like "Lethal Weapon", "Maverick", "Signs", "The Man without a Face", "Forever Young", "Mad Max 2" & the heart breaking "Gallipoli")
Not sure if appears in this one but WOW! does it look GOOD.

Based on a true story (Private Desmond Doss I salute you) what an incredibly brave man...the Human Race can sometimes be truly amazing and we'll need more like this in the years to come me thinks.

Anyhow...here is "Hacksaw Ridge" (as with most things on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and the like where a lot of bad human nature seems to rear it's ugly head...I would NOT recommend you read the comments below this in case they offend) but take a look at what looks like a wonderful story, beautifully acted out by a one time Spiderman and directed by a guy with pedigree...let the tears flow...

This looks to be a delightfully whimsical musical (yup I LOVE all kind of Genres) the trailer for La La Land co-starring the delightful Emma Stone.

I found this terrific short film that may well have gone on to become a full length feature but for the sad loss of Anton Yelchin (best known for being Checkov in the latest Star Trek films...Keptin on the Bridge) he leaves us having made this apt (for this day & age) subject matter short.

Yes it may well be in the not too distant future that we have to take into account the feelings & rights of AI's (I always find it difficult to watch that part of Speilberg's terrific "A.I." in which they are destroyed for fun very un-Spielberg I thought at the time but perhaps he was carrying on Kubrick's thread in that film?)

We're about to have some difficult situations to deal with soon...what with this (wouldn't that be a day...the day the first truly AI comes into being) and then there is gene & dna manipulation....I just hope i'm still around for this one...as i'm one of those that (so long as you were not in pain) would LOVE to live forever and I can never understand those that would not?

This trailer is a few months old but it's a BEAUTIFUL created animated tale (from the same incredible makers of 'PARANORMAN')

It's been a few weeks (almost) but I think I got a beauty for you folks here...

It's the trailer for "Arrival" (not The Arrival the Charlie Sheen film from 1996 that's actually kinda fun) this clearly has hints of the brilliant Jodi Foster SF film "CONTACT" as well as "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (a film I try to watch every Christmas...it still knocks my socks off to this day!) and even has a little of the indie movie "Midnight Special" about it.

Good cast and looks intriguing...Take a Look...
