So I guess the first Question is...

1) Do YOU believe it is worth the extra 400 million Euros to complete the build for this new Rover to be (hopefully) placed on Mars by 2021?

I'm biased a little as I LOVE space Exploration and can't wait to discover something truly wonderful out there (water & ice, strange weather conditions and minerals found on various planets & moons DO excite me) but I do long for that day when we truly find something extra-ordinary and not just 'LIFE' (as in the upcoming film in which they discover an 'organism' on Mars which may threaten life here on Earth...keep an eye out for that one next year, it has a terrific cast) but some form of real animal life, a living creature perhaps upon Mars, Titan or more likely beneath the icy waters of Europa? or wherever, it doesn't even have to be intelligent life, i'd be THRILLED by any such a discovery (especially as I love animals...and God knows we're on the right Planet for this right?)

Of course the real discovery we are awaiting be it by an advanced combination of the dopler effect and/or other instrumentation to perhaps show there is some form of intelligent life on planets far out there or perhaps they are closer to us than many here think ;) or maybe we just discover signs that a civilization once occupied or were stationed on planets and/or moons within our very own system at some point in time...THIS is thing that would really EXCITE me and something the like of which i do hope to hear of one day.

I still maintain that small Pluto outcrop looks damn strange with ALL those strange shapes upon it? but who knows it might just be an incredible work of nature? but some of those shapes!!! have you ever seen the like in nature?

Many would say...why send another rover to Mars? we've already got curiosity up there, so why send another? isn't that just wasting money? some have said they're not even releasing everything they've really found up there? I would like to think NASA are giving us ALL this information on anything discovered but you already know my thoughts on this....and there have been a number of very strange objects and surface features on MARS which have looked interesting.

So if public money? was being used by the ESA to fund this other Mars Rover for 2021 then should they? we? (I am guessing we Brits would be providing some of this money too?) do so?
For me the more the merrier, I am a curious soul and there is NO reason why we shouldn't find something interesting on Mars? and even if we don't (and of course that's possible too) we might still accumulate more knowledge I would assume on a different area on Mars? but this brings me to my 2nd Question which is...

Should this happen and the go ahead is given would the ESA let any such interesting and perhaps even troubling things found there be known to the public?
Example? and why not go BIG  if this new Rover discovered a hidden base up there complete with a fleet of craft would they let us know? Nah, me neither, however if we are in a way helping to pay for this thing then shouldn't we?, if not then it's just an elitist toy with knowledge for just those that probably perceive themselves to be better than the majority of us and using our money.

If your one of the Elite and are funding yourselves then good luck to ya...keep ya secrets but if it's money given by the general public then surely we should get ALL the results (damn i'm naïve) :P

In short i'm ALL FOR another Rover...let's hope if it is given the go-ahead the MARS Curse doesn't strike yet again!

EXOMARS gets a YES.

VERY GOOD NEWS.

So we get another rover on Mars, now should this ESA rover find something will they let us know of everything discovered and seen up there?
HOPE SO.

Then again perhaps they'll be a WAR of the ROVERS (see what I did there) :P

NASA might take down this EXOMARS ESA Rover should they head anywhere close to where something truly interesting might be.

Speaking of which have any of you folks seen the footage of that SPACE X launch which wasn't because it blew up!

The head of SPACE X stated there were NO problems indicated before this and it came as a shock to them.

Now go search this footage on YOU TUBE...

It is quiet remarkable because just prior to this rocket blowing up an object shows up in the sky (small, dark & circular) to the right of it and by the time it's moved over to the left the rocket has been destroyed...YOU REALLY COULD NOT WRITE THIS!...if this footage (which I understand is the genuine Space X footage with no editing or changes made to it) was to be confirmed & the fact that NO problems existed before this happened were also confirmed (which as I understand it they have) then WHY did it explode?

And how come this object appears over to the right...Rocket explodes...and object re-appears to the left...DON'T YOU THINK THIS STRANGE?

Maybe, either the powers that be don't want private enterprise heading into outer space and finding out what's really up there or those folks around the moon did it or were asked by the elite here on Earth to do it...sounds crazy! but we kinda are! right now, it just wouldn't surprise me if it was the case! certainly the video evidence looks mighty suspicious.

Still, i am pleased to learn we'll have a new rover up there on MArs within the next 5 years!
