I LOVE Christmas Time...Always have & Always will.

As soon as December shows up...EVERYTHING GOES...Christmas songs, movies, Tv, jumpers, food & drink, lights, toys, games, trees & decorations, kindness & loving

It seems to me that people just seem to be more caring? (unless they're rushing around Christmas shopping...arghhh but I kinda even like that!)

So folks HAPPY 1st of DECEMBER...it's officially CHRISTMAS SEASON :cheer:

Here are some Kitsch Christmas Songs that I have always LOVED and should bring a smile to you guys & gals faces...Go on give in to them, sure they're cheesy but they're HAPPY SONGS, Enjoy.

WHAT!!! No UFO or ALIEN talk? Doh :)

NOT cool for MOST...VERY cool for a few! me included who was brought up on them, I speak of...

THE CARPENTERS

and the Angelic voice of KAREN Carpenter and her very talented brother RICHARD...the folks on X FACTOR could only dream of being so GOOD.

It's "THE CARPENTERS at CHRISTMAS" TV SPECIAL folks from 1977, ah I was but a young child and around this time my parents were playing records and audio tapes featuring them...Super Harmonies & it's CHRISTMAS THEMED :cheer: :cheer:

ENJOY

This next one is quiet apt I think as I wouldn't rule out the possibility of this songs theme...Chris De Burgh's music is generally NOT for me but this is for my money has to be his BEST song and it's PERFECT for Christmas, sung well with good musical backing I think.

Funny really because I've just watched a film I've been wanting to see ever since I was teenager called "Hangar 18" and you can find it on YOU TUBE if you've never seen it, early 1980's I think and it shows, very dated but there's some interest in the story and it has similar themes to this...

That we did not just (as Darwin thought) descend simply from Apes but that we might have actually have been created or have within us DNA from these so called travellers (some might even say GODS) who knows? I believe i'm right in saying that a good chunk of our DNA is still a mystery? so who knows? is the idea so outrageous?

And so to todays tune...

Oh WHY Not! Here's the link for the film mentioned above too...Not the best but some interesting parts that might have slight comparisons to the latest film "Arrival" of which I am only hearing GOOD things of (such as one of the films of 2016) well if you decide to watch this ENJOY...

Who doesn't like a bit of Santa Claus is Coming to Town?

I was so excited he was heading into my town and my home one Christmas Night that i wanted to see & meet this cheerful amazing chappy i actually went downstairs in the middle of the night...I've always been a bit of a curious soul...Anyhow i bet many of you Guys & Gals can guess the rest?

I STILL BELIEVE.

Here's a version many of you may not know of with vocals by the talented Richard Marx & Sara Niemietz
ENJOY.

Hope you folks are enjoying these Christmas tunes / video's & are helping you get into the FESTIVE SPIRIT.

This time it's a few raunchy numbers starting with Tom Jones & Cerys Matthews with 'Baby it's Cold Outside' (a SUPER VIDEO this I think) and then this second video which I suppose isn't really a Christmas song but it's a FUN (some these days would say politically incorrect...BOO) video dance sequence with the beautiful Legs & Co (a dance troupe used on BBC's Top of the Pops music show in the 1970s) geared up as reindeer.

Well I see nothing wrong with it myself...I kind' a miss such a thing...it was FUN and fairly INNOCENT but of course there's always the spoil sports! and who can argue the song and artist 'Sir Duke' & Stevie Wonder are sensational...me I love the L&C sequences (tongue in cheek sillness for sure but I loved them as a kid and still do to this day)

ENJOY with a nice MINCE PIE.

See ya tomorrow, Same channel, Same Place ;)

Nothing quiet as raunchy tonight i'm afraid but this one is a proper moody, stylish and wonderfully tuned British Christmas Classic...and what's more it's the politically IN-Correct Version (in other words, it HAS NOT BEEN EDITED or CENSORED)

This is how it was originally & how it should always be...SORRY if some of you folks might be offended by some of the lyrics but be BRAVE :P as THIS is the STORY.

Of course it's The Pogues featuring the quiet wonderful Kirsty MacColl & "Fairytale of New York" and I wonder if you can spot the SPOT the film actor who has a brief appearance (such a Flamingo Kid)

ENJOY
