Paul Conway created the topic: NASA now making it DIFFICULT to spot CERES Rover?
So I do know that DAWN has climbed to a higher orbit now but that this should not really affect the clarity of these latest photographs taken right?
I ask because it seems to be getting more difficult to spot our little artefact CERES Rover friend up there.
Why is this?
I do not think it is because of the fact above...we should still be getting clear shots even from a higher orbit? but I have noticed that these more recent photographs such as the one below are NOT quiet as clear as they have been & upon closer inspection & using the zoom function the craters and the like are clearly more blurred, could it be they are trying to make it harder to spot this rover? by not providing the clarity they once did?
Just so long as they don't remove it entirely or airbrush it out of existence then I still have a good idea of what to look for and can still hopefully make out the difference between a rock, crater, shadow etc and this very strange object that appears to be moving around up there on Ceres (of course you may want to believe NASA in that it is an artefact? but I would ask you to check up on such a thing! I do not believe this to be an artefact)but it's getting more difficult but I have again noticed what I think looks again to be this rover (it has the same similar size, shape and shading) and if I had to bet on it I would say it is exactly the same looking object, craft (IT'S A ROVER of some kind?) but they sure are making it difficult to spot now!
TAKE a LOOK at the latest spotting from just a few days ago!
The GOOD news is...it still appears to be up there! doing whatever it is it's doing? said it before but if it's what I think it is? then it's more than likely to be a MINING craft of some kind? this would seem logical to me?
There's another strange thing on this photo (close to this rover) and it almost looks like an arrow pointing downwards...upon close inspection the shaft of this arrow type looking object appears to be a ridge of some kind making it look like this but it's the arrow head section that's the real interesting part as it looks to be some form of shading or shadow...but a shadow from what? it's hard to tell? as there looks to be nothing that large in the picture to do this?
Well good to see OUR rover again...what I wouldn't give to have a guided tour of that thing! what might there be inside?
Is it fully automated? is it manned? what's it's purpose? mining for what?
If true? it's one of the bigger stories I can think of but NO ONE is interested? and THAT is almost as strange as finding this thing up there in the first place!

Unfortunately it is getting more difficult to spot, any casual viewer to these photographs probably wouldn't have a clue but when you add in the previous history of this thing and the fact it looks pretty much the same size & shape it makes you wonder just what in the world this is?
I could not spot this artefact on the other recent photo's (but then again they are darker & not as clear to make out once zoomed in more on them)

This CAN'T be True? but it's almost as if someone was trying to highlight it (the rover) in the picture with this arrow pretty much pointing to it? as if someone was trying to give a clue to it's whereabouts in the photograph...I had to look a good deal harder I must admit this time out.

Could NASA be leaving BREADCRUMBS?
Oh My! I DO HOPE SO? now wouldn't that be something?
The truth cannot be let out to the general public but perhaps for those like us trying to seek out such things they are leaving a few clues?
Or am I just reading too much into the arrow / pointer looking thing?
Well, it would be nice of someone at NASA if this were the case...HOW I would LOVE to put my trust back with NASA (you folks will never know how much I LOVED this organisation as a young child) I was always doodling the logo on my school books (remember doing that?) and I would make the Saturn Rocket model and later the Space Shuttle model kits with NASA logo's.
In short I really do LOVE NASA and the missions they undertake but what I do NOT LOVE are the comments they sometimes make which so clearly do not make any sense or logic whatsoever?
COME BACK to us NASA be the organisation I thought you were when I was but a young kid...one of exploring, discovering and informing us of what's out there? for there surely are some STRANGE? WONDERFUL? and I dear say TROUBLING things out there but surely being informed will always be the better idea?
Well one can HOPE.

It has been stated (by NASA themselves) that there SHOULD BE MORE craters up there on CERES and i don't think they quiet know why this is just yet? and the percentage of craters (whose numbers I can not recall just now) is fairly significant...SO WHERE DID THEY GO?
If mining has been taking place up there on that dwarf planet then might it be that all this work from over the years (perhaps centuries) might have been responsible for this? and might be? why in certain areas of ceres there is actually very little to see...the mountain side, with the crash looking crater sight (just call it this as a reference point now after seeing better shots which appear to show it as a crater) just above it and with a few ridges to the left of it.
That mountain (Ahuna Mons) which just looks strangely out of place with the surrounding area being so smooth and virtually featureless.
And yet as you may have seen from some of the more recent NASA Dawn Photo's there's a lot going on in other parts of Ceres where it is cluttered with Craters & Ridges...regardless of that rover looking object (it is funny how it continues to turn up in various shots though looking the same days & weeks later! no one else thinks that's strange? an artefact photographic fault that continues to look like the same object!!! really!!! am I so wrong???) Ceres is certainly interesting.
In this photo roughly mid-way down and slightly to the left you'll notice that SUPERB looking crater with a crater within a crater...
Now pour your mould mix into this....FLIP IT...PRESS IT OUT & hey presto there's your vintage 1950's UFO saucer shape.
I wondered where they made them Now we know!
