I understand that in an episode of the Simpsons some 10 or so years ago (clearly as a joke) that the new President of the United States could be or was Donald Trump...well it actually happened TODAY...so that's a joke that has now become true, they say you can't write it but apparently YOU CAN (sorry ex-president Obama)
Speaking of Mr Obama, God Bless him I really do think he tried his best but his hands were tied.

Being curious and very interested in politics I had to watch & I am glad it went well with no problems.

Although I am not a fan, i do HOWEVER understand how this came to be, people in America had simply become fed up with the political elite (sound familiar?) and clearly got their chance to put at the top of the tree (well in the public's mind eye view) someone who was NOT even a politician, it helped that the lady he was up against wasn't a great deal better really & was part of the establishment & she also put her foot well and truly in it at times (both poor choices for President) and It did not hurt that he is rich and was able to fund his campaign and had a successful television show which the general public loved & who clearly liked his straight forward speaking, they liked his BRAVADO, it was very much like everyman talk (same here today with his speech)

I'm still AMAZED he made it & at any other time in history surely this might not have happened, the cards fell perfectly for him, hell, many women even voted for him despite the things he'd previously said!!! yup i'm / we are living in a different world thesedays.

Now having said I am not a fan what I would say is HE MIGHT ACTUALLY END UP DOING GOOD

Yup you read that right...

He wants American jobs and companies to get BIG again and not to keep buying in from other countries or to start moving production out of the country, well that's GOOD right for you folks in the US of A (China won't like it! but as he might say so what? our jobs for our people, i just hope he doesn't go overboard with regards to China and softens his stance)

He's already shaking up the security services, I don't think they're best pleased he's in there (if I were him I would certainly get my own personal security chiefs in (one's I truly trust) and would check for bugs in the Oval Office and all those important places at the White House that talks might place in.
He might just be a guy that finds out things and will hopefully DISCLOSURE them to the general public, there was a small part of that speech today that very much interested me concerning Space (worth checking it out) I think he means to get America BACK UP THERE in a BIG WAY...another GOOD thing!

I'm not a fan of PUTIN either, he had no right to send troops to the Ukraine, I dislike the fact he's testing the UK's air defence with bombers and other military aircraft (FRIENDS don't do that!) and yet he and TRUMP seem like they could get on like a house on fire, both have praised each other and who knows perhaps the two of them might? actually make the Planet SAFER, surely a GOOD thing!
And who knows? private chats between them & things that a good many of us think & believe to be so plainly true will finally be confirmed, it was interesting in his speech today that he was focusing on GIVING POWER (and hopefully knowledge) BACK TO YOU the PEOPLE...I do hope so.

He will make mistakes, he is not a politician, I don't like many of his views but MAYBE just maybe he might actually make AMERICA GREAT AGAIN & do a GOOD job?

Fairly sure I wouldn't like him as a person but if he can soften his stance on some things & get to work on jobs, giving people the real facts and getting on (and talking) with the likes of Russia, China and even the likes of North Korea then who knows?

Perhaps this Tv joke of a President might actually be something altogether different...WE CAN ONLY TRUST & HOPE.

Having said this I DO NOT WANT THAT MAN 'Corbyn' in power here in this country & that's from someone who would normally vote Labour (that party didn't only shoot itself in the foot, it shot itself in both feet) if was ONLY Corbyn it wouldn't be so bad but he's surrounded himself with a group of ....... but that's for another time & place.

Glad to see Prime Minister MAY talking tough about Bre-Exit, those in the EU can cry and moan all they like we are OUT and we certainly should NOT be paying ANYMORE or even anywhere like close to what we were doing...so many countries sell to us it would be stupid for them not to come up with a good deal for us and if not well we have other markets America (and Donald apparently LOVES the UK) along with Australia etc.
It should NOT be tough for us to negotiate but for THEM and I can see others leaving the bullying, power hungry EU but again that's for another place & time.

Just HOPE President Trump likes ALIENS of the SPACE adventuring type?
