THAT INTELLIGENT ALIEN LIFE HAS BEEN DETECTED UPON ONE OF THE EXOPLANETS ORBITING ANOTHER STAR OUT THERE.
Only joking...that's what many of us would like to see happen.
It's the title of this NASA news conference that got me a little excited to tell you the truth...
"NASA to host news conference on DISCOVERY BEYOND OUR SOLAR SYSTEM"
Yeah right, but then it goes on to say it's simply about some new findings on these new planets discovered out there, it will be interesting (to us) for sure but will be nothing too earth shatteringly different to what we normally get from NASA these days.
Let's see perhaps one BIG gas giant perhaps or maybe another EARTH like planet? perhaps even in the goldilocks zone & one they've even managed to detect holds water, ok i'm belittling it somewhat & I shouldn't because this stuff really interests me.
Any new planets detected & found is GOOD news but when you consider that NASA knows far more than here's a number of new exoplanets we've found...could be 100 or 1000 for all we know but what we really WANT to know is? HAVE you TARGETED these planets you know where there is LIFE? and will they confirm it tomorrow at...
The live event at 1pm EST in America & no doubt we'll get a little titbit of news about it towards the end of the BBC's news programmes.
Let's see, hmmm I am gonna say NO but they might throw in a little nugget or two in there somewhere perhaps like the water or co2 detected perhaps something on those grounds, Ah well, maybe NEXT YEAR?
By which time they'll probably have a written statement from them on a GOLD TABLET (hope some of you folks got that JOKE)
Just thought you'd like to know.
