BRILLIANT...looks & sounds like a feel good film it wins BEST PICTURE.
I think it's the film that along with possibly 'Arrival" will be BEST Remembered & LOVED by the public over time, so I think they got this right?
Tired now but I'll have more thoughts on the OSCARS tomorrow.
"CITY of STARS" is just such a hummable tune, I've been doing it ever since seeing the trailer and IT won BEST SONG too

WHAT!!!!!!!!!
Yup I was probably that one person that missed one of the most interesting moments in OSCAR HISTORY
I was tired & as soon as LA LA LAND was announced as winner of BEST PICTURE I switched the American ABC web stream off.
If only I had stuck around for another minute or two more I would have witnessed this strange event.
Woke up to find that the wrong envelope had been given to poor Warren Beatty & Faye Dunaway (who in the end announced it after Warren had looked more than a little puzzled) and that MOONLIGHT won and not La La Land.
"City of Stars" from La La Land did win the BEST SONG and it won another 5 Oscars so not a bad night, in fact there was a good spread of wins here.
A few interesting & curious things tonight....
1) A picture shown on the memorandum of someone who was still very much living.
2) Catherine Johnson one of the real 'Hidden Figures' women that worked for NASA was seen & celebrated here.
3) Two cool comments from persons with experience of time...
Mark Ryland "Opposing WITHOUT Hatred" yes many of us feel President Trump is wrong on many things and vice versa but try to express it as such.
and then this terrible over-rated actress came up with this little gem...
"Truth is hard to reveal" don't we know it!
4) And on the American ABC network stream I watched this on there was a special Walmart broadcasting Ad featuring a large UFO
Well I found it interesting anyway as you'd imagine, another little nudge nudge wink wink, know what I mean moment perhaps?

Oh and that actress was (as if you didn't know) quiet possibly one of the most talented actresses of all-time.
Big capitals now (she deserves it) No i don't know why I do this now? never used to! kind of a habit I got from somewhere or someone or something my brain has made me do as it's true that it is working a little differently thesedays than it used to.
