On a 100 meg connection and yeah it's been a bit slow today.

I've noticed that as well Stavy. Not just today, but also yesterday. Perhaps it's something the site techies need to check into.

Our lovely techies have tweaked things a bit, and hopefully the slow page loading is sorted. Please let me know in this thread if any of you have any further problem.

The speed of forum pages is much, much better today. I was about to mention this yesterday but got beaten to it The core site seemed fine, but the connection to the forum database took an age before the pages were served. It's good to see the issue appears resolved.

At present it is possible to insert an EBay item from the post toolbar. Do we want this? As the forum grows and becomes increasingly popular, spam will start to become an issue:
