Damn Mr Benn is LUCKY.
He can just waltz into his local COSTUME HIRING shop, step into the CHANGING ROOM and Hey Presto!
He's a SPACEMAN with his OWN Spaceship...Anyone know where there is such a PLACE for REAL ?

Here are a number of other British Children's TV Episode's from the 1970's / 80's that i was brought up on & remember with great fondness (This might bring back some memories for some of you from the UK)
THE FLUMPS 'The Cloud'
Now regarded as something of a 'Cult' not many remember it but those that do, remember it with a passion, utterly CHARMING (awwhhh POODLE)
BAGPUSS 'Ship in a Bottle'
A work of GENIUS (almost as much as KUBRICK's '2001'
I love STOP MOTION work thanks to programmes like this & the RAY HARRYHAUSEN films!
We will FIX IT...we will fix it
And the last one...
It starts off all CREEPY & then just GOES NUTS! I wonder what the folks that brought this to the screen were eating?
Well it's COLOURFUL if nothing else!
British Kids Tv was GREAT back in the 1970's & 80's and the CARTOONS...EPIC! He Man & The Masters of the Universe! Scooby Doo (just can't find the original 1969 episodes ANYWHERE!!! it's like they've VANISHED)
