I ask because...
When my sister & I were younger (In our mid teens) we would lie on sun loungers in our garden during the long hot
Summer Nights and look out for the Meteor Showers around that time.

On one such night we were treated to something very strange & unexplainable?
Two separate bright red (not flashing) lights appeared from out of nowhere, we both spotted them around the same time
and as you look up to the night sky if you held your hand up and stuck your index and middle finger out that's how
they appeared (side by side of each other) but they proceeded to do something very strange...

After a short while travelling side by side they ZIG-ZAGGED which just looked incredibly strange and un-natural.
This lasted approx 5 seconds with them Zig Zagging approx 5 times until they levelled up again and then shot off at
great speed.

I've always wanted to know what it was that we'd seen and to this day I still have no idea?
Anyone have any ideas?

There is one other strange occurance...
Some Photographs my father took that we've never published or shown that quiet frankly might SHOCK some if we were to do so
as it does appear to show a typical UFO shape along with something else close by, another shows what appears to be a strange
looking ship (hovering above a hillside)
No joke, we're still amazed by what we didn't see at the time but which showed up on the photographs taken at the time and viewed
later.

I have seen 3 strange things over the years and I will share the latest one with you now.

This was about 10 years ago when I was driving along a road in winter about 9pm at night. It was mostly cloudy but there were breaks now and then. I happened to look up at the sky as I was driving along and a big break in the cloud appears, through this I could see a few large low flying World War Two bombers flying in very close formation.

Not saying there is anything supernatural about that as I guess if they were trying to get to an airfield when it was dark they would fly low and close so that they can keep an eye on local land marks and each other. Was a strange feeling though seeing them and a memory I won't forget.

Hi Paul. I personally have not seen any strange lights in the night although I have always wanted to. Actually, I did see a steady moving white light about 35 degrees above the horizon in a summer evening many years ago and thought it strange but dismissed it as aircraft.

I will always keep an open mind about experiences like yours and will never dismiss them out of hand. The shear numbers of galaxies and possible worlds that almost certainly are within them, make it a statistical certainty that life elsewhere in the universe exists.
The question is can any life form successfully travel the shear distances needed to reach us or any other world.

I was trying to work out if there was an anniversary or something 10 years ago Martin? (2005?)

Some believe that those things described as 'Ghosts' might actually be a strange time window occurance...
A middle aged couple were lost in Europe but spotted a castle like building (old) and decided to stop and ask for help, they were invited inside and told they could stay for the night, heading up the stairs it was said they experienced a strange wave/ripple effect brush past them that for just a few seconds changed everything around them (it was like having a window looking into the past) and they saw different banisters, decor & people in different attire.
Did it happen? I have no idea but if true certainly something strange.

As a family we are open minded to strange phenomenon, my father actually experienced something very similar to the above in Briacon, France back in the 1960's.

So what you might have seen Martin may well be a quick glimpse of the past that would be cool but how to prove it?
Did you check afterwards? as you say it's more likely to have been old WW2 planes heading to an Air Show for the following day? or
something similar.

All i can say is that both my sister & I did see these two strange red lights that zig zagged (very very quickly) before disappearing at speed.
Could it have been a plane? No, some kind of lightning? No, the skies were clear, a strange kind of searchlight? but it didn't look like such a thing, a Chinese lantern perhaps? Nope (they don't zig zag especially at this speed 5 times in approx 5 seconds!!!)
I have no idea what it was we saw but i would dearly love to know? so if anyone has any clues i'd love to hear them?

UFO's? as in the Sci-Fi sense? maybe not (UFO's may well be experimental craft we have been creating & are testing?) but it was one of the strangest things i've ever seen.

As for the distances that any alien civilization would need to travel to reach us, well, perhaps they are so far in advance of us that they would have figured this out.

Might post the UFO? pictures here one day but i'm currently trying to get some info about the place they were taken and trying to figure out the possible size of them? there is a train in the foreground to give perhaps an idea of their size and they would seem to be a decent size when maybe judged with the aid of that.

They are not earth shattering photographs but again are just very very strange.
They're not birds judging by the size and shape of them (even though in the distance) they are strangely craft shaped.
What's even stranger (I'm aware I'm using the word strange a lot here ) is that at the time we did not notice them (which i can't fathom out, unless the camera has caught them observing due to the speed of the shutter or something?)


It's an interesting subject...I neither believe or disbelief but there are many occurances that have been documented over the years.

I didn't check specifically if there was an airshow as this was winter time and you don't tend to get them then. This was about 30 miles away from Biggin Hill so they could have been going there. It looks so out of place to be honest, didn't look right. For them to be flying so low at night so close in formation in old planes suggests they were late getting to their destination. You just wouldn't fly like that, too dangerous. But then to have those planes the pilots would have been experienced so shouldn't have got caught out and have to fly at night.

It's odd because the next weird thing was in the same area a couple of years earlier. I was driving late at night and had just turned off the motorway, was the only car on the road and all of a sudden a very powerful spotlight was directed on to the car from above for about 10 seconds. I nearly crashed with the shock of it and the brightness meant I couldn't see properly as my eyes were used to the dark. Then the light just shut off and everything went back to normal. I did look up to see if it was a helicopter but couldn't see you. If it was though it was a totally irresponsible thing to do!

If as you it was a Police Helicopter then it was a very irresponsible thing to do (assuming you'd not been up to no good)

I do think the subjects of aliens, strange occurances, ghosts and time travel etc are interesting, however I am not one of those who believe in such things just for the sake of it or because I want to, I would love for all these kind of things to exist in our world (it would make things even more interesting), there are good stories and they're are what sounds like crazy made up stories (who's to say?) but if just one could be proved it would certainly put a different slant on things.

I've seen many documentaries on these subjects and you hear or read of some truly incredible things that have supposed to have happened...

Presidents meeting with the Grey's to form an alliance, but for now it's just a great story, who knows if it will ever be proven to be correct.
Some have said that a movie film exists of one of the craft setting down on a U.S. Air Force base before this meeting...were this to be made public...it would be an EARTH SHATTERING moment (in fact I think they got the idea for one of the "Dark Skies" episode from this aparant encounter)

I honestly have no idea what we saw but it was incredible, it was at a high altitude and it did maneuveres that just can't be done by conventional aircraft, if it was a natural phenomenena then I'm ok with that...it was COOL to see.

Has for the photo's we've got...I am intrigued, they are just strange...and how come no one saw them at the time?

Perhaps those saying Governments have been paving the way all these years to finally disclose the truth one day may be proven correct?...even Astronauts (how respectable for the most part are they) have said they've seen strange things in orbit and close to the moon.

I'm sure we are going to find out strange things over the course of time...would be nice if started with the dwarf planet Ceres but let's be honest
I think this will probably prove to be ice (still a great little discovery though...and i'll take it)
