If you missed it...RECORD IT, show it to ALL your kids & IF any TEACHERS are out there GET THIS "RECORDED" & show it to your CLASS at SCHOOL (for all ages from 7 up to College Age 19 & UP)

This was a WONDERFULLY well done TIMELINE of the CASSINI mission along with HYGUNS & the stories made during the years of this QUIET FANTASTIC MISSION.

It is re-run on BBC4 (that's BBC 4 (FOUR) why this was NOT shown on Prime Time on BBC1 at 8pm to 9pm is anyone's guess (well ok i do know but it's SAD that SPACE & EXPLORATION & DISCOVERY is not considered worthy enough of a prime time TV SLOT)
Catch it AGAIN on THURSDAY as I say on BBC4 at 10pm.

It packs in PLENTY during it's 1 HOUR running time INCLUDING some of the TERRIFIC STORIES during this MISSION...

JULIE WEBSTER (Cassini's SPACECRAFT OPERATIONS Chief) is just WONDERFUL & an AMAZINGLY CLEVER LADY she helped pilot this SPACECRAFT to all these DESTINATIONS (Moons, Rings & the like) during the LIFETIME of this mission...it is no wonder she shed a tear for the craft's DEMISE (I think I would have too)

Another BRILLIANT lady was CAROLYN PORCO...she was Cassini's IMAGING TEAM LEADER, making the decisions as to the WHEN, WHERE & WHICH things to PHOTOGRAPH during the MISSION....AND WHAT THINGS!! WOW! WOW! & more WOW's!
You get to see those pictures again here & they are SPECTACULAR.

And then we get possibly THE GREAT STORY of CASSINI, many of you in Britain will have seen her before she is the quiet EXCEPTIONAL lady called PROFESSOR MICHELE DOUGHERTY (from Imperial College LONDON) & who we have to THANK for those SPECTACULAR Photographs & DATA from the MOON "ENCELADUS" won't spoil the story for you here but it's GRIPPING & we owe her a DRINK (I would certainly buy her one were I ever to meet her) a TERRIFIC LADY.

DID you NOTICE all 3 of the ABOVE? yup WOMEN, well it's probably the guys (for the most part) that want to KEEP the SECRETS ?

The DUNES on TITAN are discussed & it's VERY INTERESTING.
They expected to find SEAS of METHANE but for a good number of years THEY SIMPLY COULD NOT FIND THEM, they even expected THE HYGUNS PROBE to splash down in such a place & it didn't (landed on rocks & we saw the parachute fly over it in shadow) DOES this PROBE still EXIST today? or has TITAN's RAIN destroyed it? would be nice to think that it remains mostly intact to this day.

I have mentioned THOSE VERY CURIOUS SHAPES seen from HYGUNS on it's DESCENT down to "TITAN" & you must admit they are CURIOUS? are they natural? well maybe (the picture is not as clear cut as that one we saw from PLUTO which I will go to bat against anyone that says those are NATURAL because THEY ARE NOT NATURAL...WHICH of COURSE MEANS 'SOMETHING' or 'SOME ONE' is OR was on PLUTO to MAKE or CREATE THEM.
Now go take a look at that shot again & PROVE ME A FOOL? please! one way or another I would LIKE TO KNOW even if somehow? I am proved wrong.
IF you can explain HOW? HOW all of these UNNATURAL SHAPES looking like STRUCTURES we KNOW WELL ON EARTH that are NATURAL...really NATURAL then PLEASE LET ME KNOW?

The calculations to do such a MISSION to SATURN wasEPIC..it is to these PEOPLE & THEIR LIKE at NASA that I TRULY TAKE MY HAT OFF TOO & SAY a BIG THANK-YOU too....THESE ARE THE PEOPLE & THE MISSIONS 'NASA' should be FOCUSING ON & should we find unusual material don't be afraid in letting the little man & woman know about them (WE CAN COPE)

ENCELADUS may well harbour LIFE as might a good number of MOONS in our system, you see you don't really have to be in the GOLDILOCKS ZONE & I think that WILL be proven in OUR LIFETIMES.

THIS WAS ONE HELL OF A MISSION...and although i do bang on about hidden secrets & aliens & structures I DO LOVE A GOOD SOLID, WONDEFUL SPACE MISSION & THIS....CASSINI was ONE of THOSE.

PLEASE show it your KIDS...INSPIRE THEM, FIRE THEIR IMAGINATIONS let's make SPACE 'COOL' quicker.
