FINALLY!!! 
There's been talk of such a thing since I was a child...
London to AUSTRALIA in less than a HOUR
London to LOS ANGELES the same.
I DREAMED of getting on a ROCKET PLANE & going to these kind of places for DAY TRIPS (for that is what could be done if ELON MUSK is right)
We could visit THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA and be HOME the same day!
He also told us that SPACE X (of which NASA has NO CONNECTIONS
) will SEND PEOPLE to MARS by the YEAR 2024 (just 7 years away)
Again, something I thought as a young child (of the 70's) we would have DONE BY NOW.
The ships are being designed already
They better make sure these folks have a GOOD CHANCE of surviving, a risky venture of course but there will be NO LACK of volunteers i'm sure & if they LAND close to that so called 'MARS SPHINX' then they may well DISCOVER something very interesting CLOSE BY.
We now need the other (REAL) private SPACE VENTURES to COMPETE with them making SPACE TRAVEL affordable & safer for EVERYONE.
Who knows perhaps even LUNAR MISSION ONE shall change tact & become more than some of us imagined?
A NON PROFIT MINING VENTURE perhaps! yeah right CHRIS
yeah I forgot MONEY (sadly) is EVERYTHING on this PLANET at this present time.
I wonder how long before MUSK's Trips to NEW YORK in just 29 minutes (I LOVE it was 29 minutes & not 30
just looks that little bit better don't it?) will take to get OFF THE GROUND
And whatever happened to the BRITISH RAMJET ? that would have done something similar.
