I just found this & it is WONDERFUL.

It is ASTRONOMY brought up to DATE.

I have a really OLD Reflector Telescope from the 1970's (approx. 5 inch mirror) but it is not motorized & is difficult to operate but it LOOKS GREAT, very vintage & as it was my very 1st (bought with my first wage) i find it difficult to part with (even though I now (sadly) very rarely use it) but this TELESCOPE!

WOW!

This is something altogether different...like other (motorized one's) it locks on to it's subject matter so you don't have to adjust it but you can also provide DATA to SETI & get updates with SETI sometimes asking if you can HELP OUT by viewing something for them.

I had a GOOD AMERICAN Friend who would have TRULY LOVED THIS as he used his computer linked up to SETI's trying to find extra terrestrial LIFE, I wish he was still around to see such things.

The CLARITY looks AMAZING...not sure the ZOOM is a great deal better than those you can still get today but the ideas behind this ARE amazing!

THIS is the FUTURE of EARTH BASED Astronomy.
I just hope the advances will come to make the MAGNIFICATIONS even GREATER & BETTER & CLEARER...then we can have a number of them pointed at the MOON to perhaps confirm certain things

SADLY, the price is something that makes this one for the well off folks...and amazingly many of these were snapped up & are NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

Would have cost you $999 to $1,299 so NOT CHEAP, only the DELUXE PACKAGES are LEFT so i'm happy for them that this WORKED & is a GOER.

Hopefully we shall see similar TELESCOPES become more affordable so that more ordinary budgeted people can afford them.
