Just finished reading Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. It’s a great story but also contains a very good description of of orbital mechanics and the problem of getting into lunar orbit from low earth orbit. Anybody got any other recommendations for books for Lunar Mission One inspiration ?

Thankyou very much for the reccommendation of Seveneves. I downloaded the kindle version straightaway and have found it hard to put down at times. Quite gripping and thought provoking material and I still haven't reached the 30% mark yet.

Thanks again.

The Man Who Sold the Moon by Robert Heinlein?

Or if you want something to get you thinking but isn't necessarily moon related (puzzle/mystery/uncategorized sort of book) I'd recommend S by JJ Abrams

At its heart, engineering is about using science to find creative, practical solutions. It is a noble profession.

Not really moon related, but if you haven't read 'The Martian' by Andy Weir then check it out :) it's probably my all time favourite book!
