Minnaloushe creeps through the grass,
From moonlit place to place,
The sacred moon overhead,
Has taken a new phase.
(The Cat and the Moon - William Butler Yeats)

Although the Lunar Mission Club newsletter is an exclusive publication for club members, I'm sure LM1 won't mind me referring to the final section that encourages LM1 Club members to share their advice and feedback about the project so far. I've always been struck by this project's commitment to public engagement. If you have a suggestion about any aspect of LM1: the science and technology, the archive, arts and culture, education, or merchandise, now's the chance to say something, especially as the foundations are being laid.
I'm very keen for example that the archive presents contributions from across the globe and from those in all walks of life. Something I've been thinking of is how LM1 engages with those who are not connected to the Internet, as much as with those who are. As the archive is digital, we're going to have to consider ways in which lives that have little contact with the online world are represented. One partnership, The Listening Project, between the BBC and the British Library makes a very good job of this:

Perhaps there are other projects and potential partner initiatives like this that might also give voice to contributions that will better present the richness and diversity of the world and its people. If you know of one, please share it here on the forum.
