Paul Conway created the topic: A Momentous Day...Gravitational Waves
It's been awhile...but I couldn't pass up the day without commenting on what could be a Momentous one.
I just hope it's true this time
So with the news today that Gravitational Waves have been detected it might now be possible in the near future to understand more about 'The Universe's Formation'...it's on days like this that SCIENCE ROCKS!

It may well be that we could eventually use these waves in ways we can only dream about.
I really need to go and re-watch "INTERSTELLA" again now (maybe this weekend? although it may have to wait until I've watched 'The Martian')
Re-watched the Brian Cox Horizon episode tonight on creating a star here on Earth (and in doing so bringing about fusion energy that one day will 'free' the World, quiet literally) I hope this too can be done and the sooner the better.
