LM1geadmin created the topic: House Rules
Welcome to the Lunar Mission One Community! The forum is free to join and open to everyone, so come and get involved in the conversation. Supporters from all over the world are currently discussing a huge range of topics – from general chat to geology, zoology to linguistics, history to engineering, astronomy to public engagement – feel free to have your say on the most ambitious and exciting lunar mission since the Apollo landings.
We also want to see the community use the forum to come together and formulate proposals in public for specific projects they want to get going. Once you have a group of people you want to work with, and a project you want to work on, why not move on up to the Lunar Missions Labs platform where you can develop it further? It may even be adopted by Lunar Mission One!
To get going on the forum, simply register and make yourself at home.
Before you do however, take a look at our house rules. They’re easy to follow – basically common sense. Lunar Mission One is all about inclusivity and community. Respect the rules and we’ll all get on fine.
House Rules
DO…
• Keep your language clean – this is a forum for all ages
• Treat everyone as you would like to be treated yourself – we know, it’s a cliché, but it’s important
• Make sure your posts aren’t defamatory or likely to harass, threaten, abuse, upset, embarrass, inconvenience, or annoy anyone
• Ensure that anything you post on the forum does not infringe any copyright, trademark, data base right or other intellectual property right
• Comply with all applicable laws in the country that you are posting from
DON’T…
• Post comments that are intended to deceive
• Spam the forum with third party advertisements
• Post content that, unless otherwise stated, is not related to Lunar Mission One
• Promote or post any content that is obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory or discriminatory on the basis of race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
• Promote or post any sexually explicit material or encourage or facilitate violence
• Disclose anyone’s personal contact details or invade their privacy
This list is not exhaustive and Lunar Mission One and its community of moderators have absolute discretion as to whether any comment breaches the Forum rules.
But at the end of the day, it’s pretty simple – have fun, be inquisitive and creative, and be mindful of others.
