For those of who have no interest in using Facebook/Twitter/$SOCIALMEDIA, what are the alternatives to Digi Me?

A good question, so let me see what I can find out for you.

I have little interest in social media too but I've found a good use for it. You can type in journal entries which can be downloaded as PDFs, it dates and times each entry, you can organize them into folders or collections they call it and attach your own photos and media from your PC or directly from cloud storage such as one drive.

It seems good enough for me, though long term I don't see it being so ideal over10 years but it can all be exported into PDFs and such so its all good. I've only used it once I plan on doing another entry soon. Never did anything like that before but I find it does help to keep a journal.

Problem for me is that I don't really use any of the social media on offer. I don't have a facebook account... (yeah I know.. but those sort of things are a no-no professionally.)

I have a rarely used twitter account, which I have added to my Digi me, so that I can test it. Once you have an account of some sort attached to the Digi me then it is very easy to add stuff from your own PC. In a couple of minutes I added several photos and gifs.

I think you should still start thinking about what you want in your capsule and perhaps making a folder on your PC to move things to. I am sure that at some point there will be other ways to make your collection.

I will ask the question though.

Hi, I'm / was a backer of the project but this is my first post here. I'm concerned about this step too. I don't have any social media accounts and I absolutely don't want to upload my private stuff into a cloud of some partner of LMO (Digi.me). Who is behind digi.me? According to archive.org their website exists since 2009. Is there a deadline until there we have to complete uploading our data and can we do this later or do we need to start now?

I would prefer to create my digital memory box directly here on the lunarmissionone.com website only.
