Your chatting to a Manchester City fan Angela so here goes
Blue moon you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon
You knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold
Blue moon! Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own....CITY (8 quick claps) CITY (8 more claps) CITY
Ok, I added that extra little bit to the song (lovely song btw)
Yes two full moons (werewolves are having a whale of a time this month) this month (well I used to be a werewolf but I'm ok nowwwwwww) which is unusual and yet the moon won't actually turn blue...which would have been COOL for us City fans

Other drivel news (but not really, exciting actually) seen on the BBC news late last night.
Some of the results from the Philae Lander told us that H2O, O2 and CO2 were present (which many I think figured would be the case) however they also found all those CH2's (sorry I have no idea) but these are what were described as frozen building blocks for possible life!!!
How EXCITING is this?
It's how many thought life was created here on Earth and this may help confirm this?
This was an unbelievably GOOD mission...I do hope LM-1 would turn up something as meaningful.

Ta Angela. The moon was lovely last night, at least in Bristol about 10pm. Low in the sky, shining through a light haze. I got my SO to close their eyes, walk outside, pointed them towards it, and gave them the present of a lovely moon!

Ah yes, there will be a blue moon tonight! The popular definition of a blue moon is when two full moons occur in the same calendar month - we had a full moon on 2nd July and there's one tonight! There are other various technical definitions which defy me and so I'm sticking to the simple one. So happy blue-moon watching tonight, everyone!

and here I was thinking you were a Manchester City fan Angela...
Missed the Moon!
Anyways, just a quick hello to all. Been away on Hols for three weeks in Greece, and I am sure you've all had a good time on here without me.... but I'm back now!

WELCOME BACK Stavy.
Always nice to reconnect with an old favourite
How was Greece? those poor people are having a bad time of it right now
Been quiet here still (understandably being Summer & yes I guess we're still in the early years of this project)
I wonder if there will be a BIG PUSH this Christmas? and with it more will vist this site? Hope so! it's fragmented a little as I suspected.
Angela if I recall is NOT a CITY fan? if she is then she becomes an even greater GODDESS in my eyes
It was an unfashionable side but I can't remember which? that's cool as I'm really hoping BOURNEMOUTH will give us some exciting & attacking football this season (fingers crossed they survive...I think they can)

Greece was great thanks. Most Greeks are busy spending any money they have, because they don't believe the government's assurances that they won't be administering a 'haircut' like they did to the Cypriot bank account holders. The attitude is 'we'd rather spend it ourselves than let the government have it!' In Glyfada, (admittedly a more upmarket bit of Greece) people were buying up designer handbags, cars, jewellery etc., going out every night... it was like 'recession? What recession?
Bournemouth is a sort of 'second' team for me... 'Arry started his career there , and many of our yoof would go on loan there to cut their teeth on regular pro football...
