"Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return, and we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.”
Dr. Carl Sagan

Abi, you constantly impress me with your talents, there seems to be no end to them. Can I be your groupie?
I love Selfridges windows. I will try in the next few days to get one of the fortune cookies as well.

Minnaloushe creeps through the grass,
From moonlit place to place,
The sacred moon overhead,
Has taken a new phase.

Wow, that's an impressive range of languages Abi!.
Time for some more drivel
Today I attended at the Luistania Memorial on the Old Head of Kinsale. 100 years ago today was the date it was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of 1198 lives.
It was a beautiful sunny day with sea views for miles, with many events along the Cork coast over past weeks in towns and villages to remember this tragic event, culminating in today's commemorations in Cobh, Kinsale and at the Old Head of Kinsale. At 2.10pm, the whistle of a naval vessel marked the exact time the fatal torpedo was fired 100 years ago, and it was very poignant to gaze out to sea, where a wreath was placed over the wreck site.
A 200 year old ruined signal tower on the Old Head near the Memorial has also been beautifully restored and opened today as the Luisitania Museum.

New sonar images have recently been released showing the wreck site as it exists today www.thejournal.ie/government-new-picture...ths-2087564-May2015/
