Then the ending... emperor is dead and his successor as well as the unfinished death star. So ok big blow to the bad guys, what about the big fleet that was destroying the rebels and the other fleets elsewhere in the galaxy? all the star destroyer captains and admirals still out there untouched but nope its all singing and dancing. Makes no sense. BUT at least the new ones I believe follow on from that ending and the empire strikes back, again. The plot should finally make sense.
