hmm... dunno if i could do a top '10'...

Where to start, what to choose, who to leave out?

Some of my faves...
The Wrath of Khan... 14 years old, went with my bestest friend to the Swiss Cottage Odeon to see it... both of us cried our eyes out when Spock died at the end.... nooooooooo...

District 9

WestWorld - loved Yul Brynner reprising his Magnificent 7 character as a scary robot.

Pitch Black

Galaxy Quest - takes the michael out of every Sci Fi franchise ever made.. love every minute of it

Day of the Triffids. - Gave me nightmares as a kid!

Mad Max - Return to Thunderdome - great OTT performance by Tina Turner.

Donnie Darko - gratifyingly weird..

ET - THey still haven't managed to talk Spielberg into doing a sequel

Tron - nuff said...

Jurassic Park - Jeff Goldblum had ALL the best lines...

Children of Men - a very underated movie and has Clive Owen in it..

Robocop... i could go on for hours..

there is a list on the kickstarter forum. I think a few of us posted some. Maybe i'll go over and bring them across.

Just kidding. That was one ridiculous film. Probably one of the worst, ever. I wouldn't even call it a film!

And with one giant leap for forum kind.................. to the written word.
Writers I have enjoyed in alphabetical order only.
Douglas Adams
Hitchhiker Trilogy (in five parts)
Isaac Asimov
Robot/Empire/Foundation series
James Bliss
Cities in Flight novels
Arthur C Clarke
Far to many to single out
Jasper Fforde
Thursday Next novels (Some might argue not sci-fi,but far to good to leave out, anyway even my local library has various books under sci-fi,general fiction and crime fiction at the same time.)
Grant/Naylor
Red Dwarf novels
Harry Harrison
Stainless Steel Rat novels
Robert A Heinlein
Whats not to like.At a much younger age than I am today The Puppet Masters gave me many a nightmare.
Lois McMaster Bujold
Vorkosigan Sagas
E.E'Doc' Smith
Lensman novels.
And many many more.
